2026 PLAYER OF THE YEAR FREE ROLL<\/p>\n

We will use YOUR TOP 25 games played, so only your top games will count Six players will be invited, and all 6 will win something.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Below is the formula used to calculate the points for POY for playing. 2026 POY is going to heavily reward the top 3 finishers, and it will affect your point total considerably to finish in the top 6 spots.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

buyins = number of players<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

totalRebuys = total number of rebuys<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
rank = rank finished<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
switch = adds additional points for the top 6 players on top of the base points for playing.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Top-6 switch weights (multiplied by sqrt(buyins + totalRebuys)):<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
190 for 1st<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
135 for 2nd<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
90 for 3rd<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
55 for 4th<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
40 for 5th<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
25 for 6th<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/center>\n\n\n\n\n

Special season points do not count towards the overall POY point race, only the formula above will be used to calculate your 2026 POY points, during special season, the POY points in addition to the special points will be used to determine the season winner, and your POY points will be added to your total for the free roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be a free roll the first of December 2026. Whatever is in the POY 2026 Pot will be the prize pool. The top 6 finishers rated by their top 25 games will have a 5 min blind free roll and all 6 places will win a prize. Prizes will be determined at a later date. The starting chip stacks for the free roll will be based on how the top 6 players finish in the POY points race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
